In school we were taught that when doing research on something we should seek answers to the five W's: Who, What, When Where and Why. That was good teaching then and it's good teaching now. Below are the answers to these five questions in regards to THE TRUTH Internet Church.

WHO: My name is John Dallas McCarter. I've been a Christian for more than 35 years and I've been married to Adrienne for more than 30 years. I own a business and have written a book. I'm not an ordained pastor but I have taken and passed all of the coursework to become one for the denomination I belong to.  I just didn't want the title and didn't want the restrictions that came with that title.

WHAT: THE TRUTH Internet Church is a church based solely on the Internet. There are no buildings; there are no walls; there are no pews; and there are no limits or restrictions except that we always tell you the truth.

WHERE: We have no fixed location as we are only found on the Internet. You already have the web address or you wouldn't be reading this, so I won't repeat it now. Our attendees can correspond with us by email at JohnDallas@TheTruthInternetChurch.com and can use our Facebook page to correspond with others.

WHEN: New messages and new music selections can be found Saturday afternoons.  There are no restrictions on sharing these messages.  In fact, we encourage sharing these messages with others so they can partake of the Good News of Jesus Christ too.

WHY: I was at an out of town conference with some friends and went to a church service with them. It was a very exciting atmosphere and when the altar call was announced I went forward and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. After the conference I went home and for six months never went to church, never read a Bible and never prayed. I continued to live my life exactly as I had before I went to that church service. Was I saved? If I had died during that six month period would I have gone to heaven? I thought so then. I'm not so sure now. I had said the right words but they were only from my head and not from my heart. I wasn't changed nothing about me was different. I am so thankful I didn't die during that time, thinking I was saved when maybe I wasn't. Only God knew for sure then.  But I do know for sure that I am saved now and I want others to be able to know for sure that they are saved too. That's the WHY behind this website, bringing the truth about salvation; what it means, what God expects of us, and what we need to do about it.

There are a lot of people in this world who don't have access to a local church.  Some don't because of distance, some don't because of physical limitations, some don't for any number of other reasons.  The Truth Internet Church provides a way for these people to learn about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the Bible, salvation and any other subject God puts on our hearts to write about.  Our Facebook group provides a way for those viewing this website to communicate and connect with, to share with, to ask questions of, to ask for prayers and to pray for.  It's not the same as "going to church", and it may not be as good.  But for a lot of people in this world, it may be the only chance they get to hear the Word of God and learn about Jesus.
