Pray for America

America is the greatest country that has ever existed, and while far from perfect, it is still by far the best country on Earth.  But to stay the best, America needs our prayers.  So, if you pray; if you have ever prayed; if you have never prayed but still care about our country, please pray for America now. 

Pray for our political leaders: That they would seek God and His will; that they would do what is best for our country and not just what is best for themselves or their political party; and that where differences arise they would work together to resolve those differences.

Pray for our religious leaders: that they would speak out about what is happening in our country with religious intolerance; that they would overcome their fears about being persecuted for speaking out and realize that if they don’t speak out persecution will increase; and that they would preach the full gospel of God including sin, hell and repentance and not be simply motivational speakers.

Pray for our business leaders: that they would realize that while they are in business to make a profit they also need to do what is good for our country; that they would put their people before themselves; and that they would put honesty and ethics above profit.

Pray for our people: that we would be united as Americans and not just as members of a particular demographic; that as Americans we would care for and take care of each other; and that we would humble ourselves, seek God and turn from our wicked ways so God will hear us, forgive us and heal our land.
